The model S2 is an automatic high speed, single thread, chain-stitch machine. Like its keyholing sister, this original design and robust construction is not yet convincingly surpassed and remains the bar.

Whilst the knife has been removed for health and safety reasons this slight inconvenience is offset by the benefit of a cut not being necessary until you’re satisfied with the hole positioning. The length of hole is also very easily adjustable.

The Shank Holer is accessible to all members who have passed an assessment for it and is one of the shared access sewing machines.
